Eco Suave: Shawn Thierry

Interview with Shawn Thierry
Owner an founder of EcoLovers.

What inspired you to start EcoLovers?

Te desire to help people to better themselves and protect our warming lovely planet we all share.

How did you get into raw foods?

Looking for a way to achieve optimum health. Avoiding cancer proliferation. Increase longevity. Raise the vibration of my body energies to be able to connect with the world consciousness. Meet people that are like minded, open minded to the world, natural healing enthusiasts, people that care for themselves and others.
Raw Food is the solution to all the answers... “We are what we eat "... I believe that bringing living earth to my body will help me become a better person.

As an Indigo Adult, in the Octarine transition ( see my blog) I believe that sending positive energies to the universe can bring more balance to all the negativity to this world. The more I see people suffering with stress, fatigue, fear and insecurity, the more I feel like pushing back happiness, hope, solutions, friendship and love.

Raw Living Food allows me to do that, simply with the help of Mother Nature... And it works!

I think this represent me well... pulling the world to peace as an angel:

Tell us a little bit about your company:

For the love of our planet and the self respect of our soul, I wanted to share my findings with people that would be willing to listen. People are always looking for a solution for happiness, whichever definition of happiness might be.
I am providing real solutions for the major trends in the world today. Real solutions from basic needs like oxygen, air, water and nutrition to more advanced solutions like natural healings, natural human growth hormones, spirituality, virus control, indoor air/water quality control and fitness.

Some of those solutions are provided with products that are not animal-tested, non-invasive, non-addictive, organic, non-polluting, and totally safe for children, asthmatics and the elder.

Where do you see your company in 3 years?

In 3 years I see my company (EcoLovers) the same as it is today, inspiring others to become a better, healthier, happier person. I am not doing it for the fame; i am doing it for the passion of helping people.
In the other hand, I can see the Companies I represent ( EcoQuest International and Lumina) being larger than Microsoft and Exxon combined together!

Who is your biggest inspiration?

"All I do is for the love of my daughter Camille and to inspire people to learn and teach others "

What can you tell us about yourself, that you don’t share often?

Haha! Well...I am still looking for my soulmate... ;-) I know she's there, somewhere, waiting for the light to bright.

Who are you voting for President?

Not a US Citizen yet so I cannot vote. Originally from France, I am a legal alien. If I could vote, I would vote for Ron Paul so he could stop spending money on killing other people and focus on sustainable energies and transportations. Do you know that in hour, there is enough sunlight power on earth to provide energy to the entire world for a whole year!! We do have the technologies and the funds to become sustainable, it is just all about greedy politics and manipulative corporations controlling the masses with sodium fluoride, poor education system and media brainwash.

What are your religious views?

I am spiritual, not religious.
I believe in the law of attraction and evolution.
I do respect religions as a great way for people that need to be lead in their life for personal growth and family values. It is a good thing to believe in something. Good values make good people.

What is your view on romantic relationships and food?

For hundreds of years, dining has played a major role for uplifting romance. It is a form of art that combines different senses such as odor, flavor, taste combinations, colors, presentations... I believe that food is still very important in a healthy lifestyle and relationship. It brings people together, helps with communication and strengthens the desire to be more passionate.
With the traditional 4 or 5 courses romantic diners cliché', people think that rawfood diners are limited to a boring salad with just oil and vinaigrette! LOL ... I can prove them wrong! :-D
One of my RawFood dining for two can be the most spectacular, most memorable anyone can ever experience!

What are your tips for Valentine ’s Day?

Think Green for hearts. Valentine is to love.
Smile
Live for her/him, enjoy the NOW and forget the rest!
Be passionate and sincere
Just say it! and many times ;-)
Eat Raw! It is good for the planet, good for the animals, good for your body and breath! LOL

Shining Star: John Schott

Interview with John Schott
Founder an owner of Sacred Symbiosis.

How long have you been raw?

I’ve been on my Lifefood/ Raw journey for the past four years, which is the same time that it has taken for me to develop Sacred Symbiosis. For the most part it has been a lifestyle adjustment where a great deal of evolution has taken place.

Where did you come up with the name for you company?

I’m the type of individual who thrives on developing creative ideas and projects. When I conceived the idea of creating a conscious driven business/ company I knew the name had to have meaning and profound significance. In simple terms symbiosis is the relationship that all organisms in the universe, both on a macro & micro level, share so that we survive. It is what keeps our existence flowing. It is a relationship where we all need each other and we evolve not from a “survival of the fittest” mentality but of a mutual relationship & never ending cycle of growth. This to me is a sacred reality. Thus the name of it all as related to food and consciousness equals Sacred Symbiosis.

Will you be opening you own restaurant or working out of one?

I’m currently on the verge of opening a café in Brickell/ downtown area in Miami. I’m hoping to be up and running in about 2 weeks.

What is your goal in being a raw chief?

I like to consider myself more to be a messenger of light and a consciousness educator. On a chef level I like to present loving foods to the public- thus my goal in this aspect is to promote an idea of sustainability and peace through not only the highest quality/ nutrient dense foods on the planet, but also as the most deliciousJ

Where do you see your business in 3 years?

I see a thriving Café/ Educational center that will serve as the model for an expansive consciousness chain. I see in three years an opportunity to debunk the Junk food syndrome in order to make way for the Healing revelation that will lead to a readily available & abundant resource of choice for the people.

What is your favorite raw food?

Wild flower unfiltered unprocessed raw spiritual gift from nature honey. There is also an amazing exotic fruit that grows in the tropics called nispero that is absolutely fantastic.

What is a staple in your recipes?

Seed or brazil nutmilk. For me this is extremely important as the main basis of my diet comes from super rich high mineral superfood drinks, tonics and powerful teas. The milk I create acts as the yummiest and most favorite base for all my concoctions.

An what is a staple in your diet?

Again the milk… with the use of probiotics, super herbs, superfoods like chlorella, spirulina, an seeds like pumpkin.

I asked John a little bit about himself, an it turns out his quite a reader. He stated: “You’ll find a book or any source of knowledge close by pretty much all the time. I’m an avid reader and never ending seeker of truth. Since I need lots of exciting fresh and new stuff all the time (so that I’m never bored cause that’ll get me in trouble with my worst enemy- my thoughts…) I’ll be reading at least five different books at one time. Right now I have my hands on a fascinating book on Numerology by Glynis McCants, on Ayurvedic Tongue Diagnosis, one called Supernatural concerning Ibogaine, one about Sex & Love by Brigette Mars, and I’m pretty sure I’ll find something new before the week’s over. I have a list of books that never ends. John also enjoys Traveling, movies that bring out emotion, provoke thought and move the immortal spirit of the human soul.

I can personally say an vouch for John, as well as many others that know him, that his food is divine. He has a stand at the Coconut Groove Market, in Miami every Saturday. He spreads his light, an energy with his magnificent creations.
He also sells his own book of recipes, his famous Life Tortillas, an lot’s more can be
found on his website:

Exquisite burgers

Better than Taco Bell Taco's

And melt in your mouth pizza’s

New Intro to Raw Reveal

Welcome!

I’ve decided to dedicate more of my blog to less about myself an my journey, and more about other’s an theirs. At Raw Reveal my goal is to reveal information to readers about the Florida raw food/vegan/vegetarian community. Bringing in people, experiences, events, companies, an more; that has to do with an awakening of consciousness to live a better, more fulfilled lifestyle. It’s time to drops the mask’s, an reveal, the true guru within you.

To tell you a little bit about myself, I am a raw food vegan, inspiring to become enlightened, an more evolved in this lifestyle. I want to meet an experience great new people, who strive for truth. I am a very real person, I feel, and I’m deep. I’ve been through some very trying times in my life, some abuse, pain, an strife. But I believe in good, I believe in greatness of the human race. And I refuse to give up on myself, or anyone else. I rarely scratch the surface I like to dive right in, an experience people, an events that are of a high vibration of love. I’ve read this quote in many different places, an find it very profound: “"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all of the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”-A Course of Miracles”

Fresh Juice, with Omega

I’ve been on Phase 4 of the ejuva cleanse for four days. I’ve been fasting, on juices, an I have to say, I feel so good. I went and did a kickboxing class tonight, I couldn’t help myself, working out makes me feel so high. I’m not craving any foods really, except Hippocrates, an their sprouts. I would love to go have a salad there, but I want to hold off for at least another week. Juicing feels so good, an it’s so easy.

Today for lunch I had

This luscious green juice:

Apple
Celery
Wheatgrass
Cilantro
Ginger
Cucumber

I used my Omega juicer, which I think is wonderful, clean up is so easy. I hear a lot of people complaining about there juicers, go with the Omega 8003, A low rotation speed of 80 RPM which means there’s no heat build up. Unlike a lot of other juicers have with there sharp fast blades. It maintains all the enzymes, which is why we’re juicing in the first place!

I also recommend drinking any fresh pressed juice within the first 15mins for the full benefits, otherwise you’re cheating yourself.

For dinner I had:

Apple juice
Berries
Superfoods
Irish Moss

This was so divine, it was my first time making it, an it was amazing, I loved it. Berries are known for lifting depression if eaten on an empty stomach, and on a continually basics for 5-6 weeks.

A great song to listen to, is Buddha Bar, A passage to Tibet, I am listening to it right now, an it’s so soothing. Music is such a gift.

I was in my moms house the other day, an picked up a book, The love Poems, of Rumi. Edited by Deepak Chopra. (Love him)

I found that one poem out of the whole book, that related to me:

The Meaning of Love

Both light an shadow

Are the dance of Love.

Love has no cause;

It is the astrolabe of God’s secrets.

Lover an loving are inseparable

An timeless.

Although I may try to describe Love

When I experience it I am speechless.

Although I may try to write about Love

I am rendered helpless;

My pen breaks and the paper slips away

At ineffable place

Where Lover, Loving, an Loved are one.

Every moment is made glorious

By the light of Love.

Be blessed,

Amanda

Josh's Market

Sunday, I went to Josh’s organic Market, with my mom. His selection of organic produce is out of this world. I bought lettuce from him a week ago an it’s still fresh. His market is in downtown Hollywood. All fresh, organic produce. I’m going to take pictures next time I go. I came across this really beautiful vegetable. It is broccoli mixed with cauliflower. I don’t know the exact name for it, but it was beautiful, so I bought one. They we’re $2.oo each.

Beautiful large wheatgrass tray I got at Josh's $17 can't beat it

I started phase 4 of my cleanse on Sunday. Which means, no solid food, just fasting. Yesterday I had, apple juice with ginger in the afternoon, than for dinner I had apple juice with spirulina. All organic, fresh pressed. I love apple juice! I could drink it all day for the next month an not get bored.

Ready for a fast?

This past week has been pretty interesting. Today is my last day on phase 3, of the cleanse. Tomorrow I will go into phase 4. Which means no solid food, an fasting. I’ve never fasted before, for more than two days so we’ll see how it works out. I remember trying the master cleanse, ha, I bought all these lemons, an maple syrup, got ready for it, was all hyped up, than sure enough after day three, I was craving an apple, I wanted one so badly so I had one.

Than it was all down hill, I thought to myself, well I’ve just messed up the whole thing so forget it. I’m in a much better mental state now than I was than. I was doing it for the wrong reasons than.

When fasting the intent of it has to be clear. What do you want to get out of the fast? How long do you want to do it? What kind of fast is it? How is it going to help you?

I thinking knowing the benefits of a fast helps you pertain it, an encourages you along your road.

Yesterday I had apple juice, an coconut water.

My mom is taking participation in a group fast for seven days starting Monday. I’m happy for her. She’s working with an herbalist to help her with her colon. It should be easy for her, they are meeting up once a week, she’s doing enemas, and she does chi gong in the morning an yoga at night, I think 6 days a week. I’m so proud of her. She’s always done yoga. When she was in her twenties like me she lived in an Ashram in London.

She’s a wonderful woman. An every since she’s been practicing chi gong and yoga, she’s become so much more centered. She has a lot on her shoulders, but she’s a warrior goddess. I’m proud to be her daughter.

Here are some benefits on fasting, and workings behind it:

The benefits of fasting must be preceded by a look at the body's progression when deprived of food. Due to the lack of incoming energy, the body must turn to its own resources, a function called autolysis. Autolysis is the breaking down of fat stores in the body in order to produce energy. The liver is in charge of converting the fats into a chemical called a ketone body, "the metabolic substances acetoacetic acid and beta-hydroxybutyric acid" , and then distributing these bodies throughout the body via the blood stream. "When this fat utilization occurs, free fatty acids are released into the blood stream and are used by the liver for energy." The less one eats, the more the body turns to these stored fats and creates these ketone bodies, the accumulation of which is referred to as ketosis.

Detoxification is the foremost argument presented by advocates of fasting. "Detoxification is a normal body process of eliminating or neutralizing toxins through the colon, liver, kidneys, lungs, lymph glands, and skin." . This process is precipitated by fasting because when food is no longer entering the body, the body turns to fat reserves for energy. "Human fat is valued at 3,500 calories per pound," a number that would lead one to believe that surviving on one pound of fat every day would provide a body with enough energy to function normally. These fat reserves were created when excess glucose and carbohydrates were not used for energy or growth, not excreted, and therefore converted into fat. When the fat reserves are used for energy during a fast, it releases the chemicals from the fatty acids into the system which are then eliminated through the aforementioned organs. Chemicals not found in food but absorbed from one's environment, such as DDT, are also stored in fat reserves that may be released during a fast. One fasting advocate tested his own urine, feces and sweat during an extended fast and found traces of DDT in each.

A second prescribed benefit of fasting is the healing process that begins in the body during a fast. During a fast energy is diverted away from the digestive system due to its lack of use and towards the metabolism and immune system. The healing process during a fast is precipitated by the body's search for energy sources. Abnormal growths within the body, tumors and the like, do not have the full support of the body's supplies and therefore are more susceptible to autolysis. Furthermore, "production of protein for replacement of damaged cells (protein synthesis) occurs more efficiently because fewer 'mistakes' are made by the DNA/RNA genetic controls which govern this process." A higher efficiency in protein synthesis results in healthier cells, tissues and organs. This is one reason that animals stop eating when they are wounded, and why humans lose hunger during influenza. Hunger has been proven absent in illnesses such as gastritis, tonsillitis and colds. Therefore, when one is fasting, the person is consciously diverting energy from the digestive system to the immune system.

How interesting is that, our bodies are so smart, if we just listen to them. They will guide us to food, tell us to stop eating, tell us when to go to sleep, when to work out. The animal kingdom is much more intoned with their rhythms, an cycles. They work with, not against them.

Move to your own drum beats...

"To dance is to be out of yourself, larger, more powerful,
more beautiful. This is power. It is glory on earth,
and it is yours for the taking"- Agnes De Mille

What a beautiful Friday I had, I’m on Phase 3 of the ejuva cleanse…wooohoooo, feeling good, the last week phase 4, I fast for. Yesterday I went to a bikram yoga class. I hadn’t done it in a few weeks, so I was a little rusty, but never the less I enjoyed every minute of it.

I truly do enjoy it here are some of its benefits:

The heat has many benefits...

The heat means we can get into postures more deeply and effectively - plus the benefits of the postures come quickly. Like thousands before you, you will find that practicing yoga in the warm room creates a satisfying and almost addictive feeling of achievement.

The benefits are many:

  • Your body burns fat more effectively; fat may be redistributed and burned as energy during the class. It is common to lose centimeters of shape in a very short time
  • The heat produces a fluid-like stretch allowing for greater range of movement in joints, muscles, ligaments and other supporting structures of the body
  • Capillaries dilate in the heat; more effectively oxygenating the tissues, muscles, glands and organs and helping in the removal of waste products
  • Your peripheral circulation improves due to enhanced perfusion of your extremities
  • Your metabolism speeds up the breakdown of glucose and fatty acids
  • You benefit from a strengthening of willpower, self control, concentration and determination in this challenging environment
  • Your cardiovascular system gets a thorough workout
  • Your muscles and connective tissue become more elastic and allow for greater flexibility with less chance of injury and improved resolution of injury
  • Sweating promotes detoxification and elimination through the skin - which is the body's largest eliminating organ
  • Just as when your body raises its temperature to fight infection, the raised temperature in the room will assist in improving T-cell function and the proper functioning of your immune system
  • Your nervous system function is greatly improved and messages are carried more efficiently to and from your brain
  • Metabolism improves in your digestive system and in the body's cells (that is food in the gut and nutrients in the cells)

A disciplined practice of these postures will work on the whole body relieving stress, improving balance and strengthening the glands, organs, circulation, digestive and nervous systems. It rejuvenates tissue, reverses the aging process, reshapes muscles and tendons and stabilizes weight while it builds will power, self-control and patience.

On the raw diet I think exercises is so important. I certainly find it helpful. An I enjoy participating in it at least 5 days a week. Kickboxing..cardio..yoga..Strength training.

Last night I went out with some friends of mine, we had a really good time. Where we went there was this excellent band playing, the energy they gave off was amazing, I loved it. It just got my heart beat pumping; an I could feel the music through my body. There we’re these two girls, just sitting on the floor vibing to the music and drawing. I thought this was so librating. I watch these girls, pull out different color pencils an markers an just sketch away, sketching to the beat of the music, an the vibrant energy of the people. There were people dancing just rockin’ out the floor, I loved the way they danced, it was totally UNINHIBITED! Needless to say, I did a little bit myself. ;)

I personally don’t drink when I go out, I really don’t feel any need to. I like observing, an talking with friends, an people. I’d rather get my kicks with natural highs.

I got two papayas off my trees yesterday, they are pretty scrumptious! I’m craving Hippocrates food, I think I will go sometime this week.

Today I went down to the Coconut Groove Market, an picked up some fresh juices, an coconut water for the week. It’s so neat down there…raw ice creams, pizza’s, wraps, raw prepaired foods..I’m staying away from all of this intel I am done with my cleanse, an feel like I actually want any of it. Right now, I doing great on lots of greens. I had there spinach salad there. Just spinach, onions, an their garlic dressing.

After I went to my friend John’s brothers party, he an his girlfriend just had a baby. It was so nice to be around him an his family. I adore his family there all so friendly an down to earth.

I’m going to try an fit a workout in, an go over to B an N for a little reading. I missed my yoga class today. Bummer, so I’ll just have to go tomorrow.
